We have so enjoyed the Bruce Weber month on the SUNDANCE Channel. We can never get enough of Bruce Weber. He is the absolute favorite of Boy Scout Blog.

Here is a sneak peek at Dylan Rosser’s new book titled Red, more erotic and sexual in nature than his last book, X-Posed. “After my debut book last year, I really wanted to focus on a theme,” he explains. “X-Posed was all about showcasing my work from over the past few years. So, this time I wanted to come up with a concept that would be visually pleasing. I had not seen a book of nudes based around a color theme, and what better color than red? It is all about sensuality and even danger! I had already started using the color in my work during the previous years, so once I had the book concept in my head I started to expand on what I had already done.”
The London-based photographer relied on some familiar faces and bodies such as international aerial artist and performer Arian Levanael, models Jakub Stefano, Matthew Ludwinski and Rob Pacicca, along with adult film stars Marco Blaze, Turk Mason and Andy O’Neill. Many of the models in the book agreed to go nude exclusively for Rosser. The 120-page book is slated for release in October, but is already available for pre-order on most book sites such as Amazon, Waterstones, 10percent, and TLA Video.
We are madly in love with the male model AJ Abualrub. The Kentucky boy has been landing several major editorials and campaigns – most recently an editorial in the current issue of GQ Style UK and Orpheus Descending [above] was shot by Nathaniel Goldberg.
AJ is represented by Ford Models, and has been working almost exclusively for Calvin Klein [left], and continues to appear in Calvin 2.0, shot by Chad Pitman [right].
We loved the editorial “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” by Doug Inglish in the summer issue of Crash. The photos made our hearts race fast and we lost our breath as the images of Chris Dattola, fav-Click Model Parker Gregory and sexy Eugen Bauder stared back at us from the pages. We thought you might enjoy this spectacular spread.

Hollywood photographer and celebrity portraiture instructor John Russo finally delivers his long-awaited About Face, and it’s the cover story of MetroSource NY — with all the honors going to model Clay Adler (Nous Models) [above].
The photobook published by Pixie Press Worldwide, LLC features squeaky-clean and uniform black and white portraits of some of television’s and film’s most recognizable young faces, like [clockwise] Jim Caviezel, Gilles Marini, Ian Somerhalder and Chace Crawford.
Russo used a Type 55 Polaroid, and started shooting models and athletes, before he moved into actors. His objective was to capture the raw beauty, essence, diversity, and the qualities that made each subject unique. “Initially, I sought subjects whose looks were, to me, aesthetically pleasing. I researched models that I thought possessed a unique beauty, whether it was a strong Roman nose, full lips or intense eyes,” he explained. “Next, I shot all of my models in the same position, in the same pose with basically the same natural light. This created an equal playing field for my project.” Hence the impressive lineup of stunners, ranging from [clockwise] Marco Dapper and Zane Holtz, to Chris Dattola and Jason Muirbrook.
The Californian photographer is currently working on two other non-profit books in addition to About Face. 100 Making a Difference focuses on 100 influential people who are making a difference in the lives of others. Working with the United States Tennis Association, Russo’s The Face of Tennis, aims to help children get involved in tennis to improve their lives.
